Sonia Colony, LMT


Licensed Massage Therapy (Therapuetic and Relaxation, Hot Stone, Lomi-Lomi and Bamboo Fusion), Reflexology and Ionic Detox Therapy

I graduated with honors from The American Institute of Medicine in 2002 and received my license from the Ohio State Medical Board January 2003. I have taken specialized courses in integrative reflexology, TMJ dysfunction, headaches and neck pain, spa treatments, chair massage, frozen shoulder syndrome, Hot Stone Therapy, Bamboo Fusion Certified and Lomi-Lomi Certified. I opened Relax Wellness Day Spa in March 2003 amd continue to learn and grow as a massage therapist and business owner. I believe that stress relief is key to staying healthy and I strive to offer a therapeutic service in a relaxing and welcoming environment. I love working with my clients and am happy to be able to help someone feel better mentally, physically and emotionally.

 I graduated from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine where I studied Anatomy and Physiology, Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy. I received my license from the State of Ohio State Medical Board in January 2005. I enjoy helping clients reduce their everyday stress through massage therapy.

 I graduated from Ravenscroft Beauty College in Fort Wayne, Indiana May 2003 with 700 hours of practical and theory training. I am licensed through the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology and have taken & continue to take additional business & advanced eshetic education. My services include Facials (High Performance & Specialty), Waxing services, Body treatments/wraps, Eyelash application, Eyebrow Tinting, MakeUp Services (including Bridal parties) and many other add-on treatments. I specialize in relaxing manicures and pedicures and also offer nail enhancements. Client safety and comfort is most important to me. I use a fully sanitize able pipeless pedicure station which offers the most advanced technology in cleanliness.

I am a managing manicurist for Relax Wellness Day Spa. I offer a manicures, pedicures, OPI Axxium Semi Permanent Nail Lacquer, and natural looking nail enhancements(CND product) . We are all independent contractors at Relax Wellness so pricing may vary. I graduated from Ohio State School of Cosmetology and have 15 years of experience in the nail industry and love the business of making people feel good about how they look. I am a graduate of The American Institute of Alternative Medicine and a Licensed Massaged Therapist through the Ohio Medical Board. I am also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and National Certified Bodyworker. I have completed additional education/training in Lymphedema, Cancer, Geriatric & Pregnancy Massage. I work part-time for a Chiropractor and have hundreds of hours of experience in headache relief, neck, back & hip pain. The services I provide include: relaxation, deep tissue, NMT-Trigger point, myofascial release therapy, pregnancy, senior, cancer & critically ill massage, CDT, manual lymph drainage and treatment of Fibromyalgia symptoms. I am dedicated to providing the best care for my clients/patients. I am grateful to be in a profession where caring for others in the main goal.
